"If I had to choose somewhere else in Chicago to live, I couldn't," Michele Militante says. "I love being kind of off the beaten track and yet being a part of the action in the River East neighborhood." After growing up in the Northwest suburbs, Militante eventually moved to Chicago in 1995 and lived for the most part in the Streeterville area. Her mother and father settled in Florida. But in May of last year her parents returned to Chicago where her dad had worked, and bought a condominium in RiverView in the River East neighborhood. "They had an ocean-view condo in Florida," says Militante, “and RiverView was a great transition because they have a view of the river and a clear shot of the lake.""The sun in the morning and the skyline and Olive Park are just fabulous."
